Susa is what I'd call an authentic town. They haven't gone too far down the route of turning it into a tourist centre. We spent our time walking in the surrounding countryside and wandering through the narrow streets., which we enjoyed. The property is really nice, spacious and comfortable with loads of character. It's well equipped with a good kitchen, and nice seating areas inside and out. Val de Susa is beautiful. The village is small and quiet, just what you'd need if you want to relax and wind down, but only 10 minutes from a supermarket and the town of Susa.
