I loved Valtournenche! This is a small to medium village in the mountains. Lovely atmosphere when walking through the village. Tourist Information Centre for the village and surrounding area available. Plenty of restaurants /cafes to choose from and even a cheese factory! They have a ski rental store right in front of the hotel with exceptional rental equipment at reasonable prices. You can buy the ski pass right at the hotel reception which is super. The owner and staff are super friendly and around to help almost always. If i wanted a tea they are more than happy to prepare one and take to the room in the evenings. There’s a ski bus to the valternenche lift that’s a few minutes walk away. Apartment clean and comfortable.
