Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!Guest review byAquilaIreland - 10.0

I was very positively surprised. Viterbo is an absolute jewel. If you can, go there! Admire the fantastic houses from the middle ages or even older. Lovely medieval walled town with interesting history and historic buildings. It is easy and pleasant to walk in the historic part of the town. Interesting small museum mostly about the Etruscans. Beds are comfortable and apartment is very clean. Free parking is only few mins from the apartment by walk so you can easily park your car. It is very close to Rome by car so it was a great location to stay. Apartment is fully equipped, you have everything you need.
