From the first communication with Ultimate Freedom Bed and Breakfast (Miss Lydia), I knew I had booked the right place for my parents who needed accommodation for a funeral they had to attend. Miss Lydia was helpful, informative, and patient, answering my questions promptly. Miss Lydia made sure the room was cooled and prepared before my parents' arrival and informed me when they had arrived safely, which I was very grateful for. My parents were nothing but impressed with their room and the level of service Miss Lydia provided. They stated that she went above and beyond, looked after them, and they wanted for nothing! The room wasn't just clean; it was spotless. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. All my requests were met, even those that seemed impossible. The Jamaican-style breakfast in the mornings was delicious despite the fact that the menu needs some revamping. The restaurants (The Decadence and Lattitude Lounge) were exceptional. The property was very clean and the rooms were well-kept. The location was ideal, especially when seeking a little getaway/ chill spot. The front desk manager and her team were very polite and welcoming, they even gave me a complimentary upgrade to another room.

Delightful. Property has freshly planted flowers and its restaurant deck is under renovation, but still operating. Best sunsets on the planet! Food was fresh and fairly priced. The Jamaican breakfast was fantastic!

The location was perfect, just far enough fro ⁹ the town to be quiet, peaceful and scenic, yet close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The property was beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious with everything we needed. I stayed with an 11yrs old child and we both had enough space to relax and do our own thing at times.

Very nice and comfortable APT in a very quiet area in Black River. With a full kitchen, large bedroom, a very good shower and a big comfy sofa !! We received the entrance pincode the day before our arrival, but got the keys from the friendly lady next doors. Also, the payment was done through her, which was not really communicated by the owner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. We travelled by route taxis to YS Falls, Treasure Beach and Appleton distillery. Black River is THE transport hub in this part of the island. And is a lively place to be for a few days. The croc tour we did with a local man Teddy, just for the 2 of us, same price 25USD PP, but longer tour and very personal. WATCH OUT for crocs in the sea in town as we have seen 2 bigger ones enjoying the sea .... NOT a joke !! Ask the locals.

The ambiance was very accommodating and relaxing; checking in and out was smooth. The home is well kept with adequate towels and bed linens. Our host made himself readily available. The price for our stay was great. The area is relatively safe; we were able to take morning walks and also walk undisturbed at night. The amenities offered are excellent and in good working condition. I highly recommend staying here as it is also a centralized location to travel from enjoy popular tourist area.
