Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration...
Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.Guest review byOliver - 10.0

The Japanese community in Chiba is very helpful. You won't get lost. Directions are very clear and they have people at every post who will help you buy your train tickets and banks are easy to find to avail of cash. I want to go back and see more of Chiba in the future. I have seen only a few of the beautiful views and the weather is very nice and the food is very delicious. I can still remember the hot and delicious ramen that my husband and I were slurping after a walk in the park. Chiba zoo was great for my toddler. Chiba park was a nice walk but not stroller friendly. We thought Chiba was a very nice place to stay but there isn’t a lot of stuff to do. We will explore southern Chiba next time.Guest review byMichelleCanada - 10.0

Chiba City is a charming destination with much to offer, but it's important to note that some establishments, like hotels, may have strict check-in and check-out times, which can be inconvenient for longer stays. Nonetheless, the city itself has a lot to explore, from its rich cultural heritage to modern attractions like Disney Land. The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre.
The hotel is in Makuhari Messe with its exhibition centre. If you are going to an event/exhibition at Makuhari Messe then the area is good, otherwise it has no merits. For tourists better to stay in Tokyo proper. With a car there are a lot of attractive places to visit in Chiba, mainly in the Boso Peninsula but this hotel is a poor location as a base for Chiba travel.
