We do try the famous Noto Beef at a great low key restaurant. It was a great experience and the meat was incredible. Great hosts! Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit.
Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit. It has a similar charm as Kyoto, but with fewer crowds. We found it easy to get around the city by bus or on foot. We had 2 days here but could have stayed for 4 days or more.Guest review byElaineAustralia - 8.0

I don’t know if I needed to have stayed here. Or maybe it would have been better to come during a special time of year (firefly season or some festival). The castle area was also under construction. Kanazawa is a gem of a town.
Kanazawa is a gem of a town. We really enjoyed the Samurai quarter, it's quaint and not over-populated. Kanazawa castle is fantastic, and so is Kenrokuen garden. The museum of modern art is also compact and quite good.Guest review byGuyIsrael

This is a very good large high rise hotel with all conveniences. The trains and busses from Kanazawa station, shopping and restaurants were all very handy. The service both for food and housekeeping was impeccable and the room was very well equipped with nice bathroom amenities, complementary bottled water and a range of refreshments. Because the staff are amazing. They have a Japanese style breakfast with many different options. The hotel restaurant is also good (though expensive). Facilities are good, though I didn't use the onsen. Location is perfect, really central to most Kanazawa attractions. Beds are comfy and many pillows were provided. Staff spoke better English than in most Japanese hotels.
