This is a very special hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. The room, private onsen and view were wonderful. The bed was super comfy (and huge!). The food was absolutely delicious - Nagasaki beef with truffled egg was up there with the best things we've ever eaten. All the staff were perfect. The lady who served us at dinner and breakfast, and the gentleman who checked us in / out were so lovely. Free drinks were also appreciated! Room was SO big and SUPER CLEAN and the bedding were really comfy so I slept well everyday. Nice view from the room. You can see the whole lake from the balcony. You can have some cup nuddles and coffee anytime in the public lounge which is open 24hr. Some tablewares, microwaves and hot water are also provided for free in the lounge which is very useful.
