Ulsan is a city centred around its major industry - vehicle manufacture. We attempted to arrange a Hyundai factory tour - the world's largest car plant - (before we left home in Australia and again when we arrived in Ulsan) but the factory management made this too difficult which was disappointing. We had incorrectly assumed that as satisfied owners of a new Hyundai SUV we would be welcomed. Some outdoor attractions are worthwhile eg Daewangam Park and the museum's hi-tech tour of the city, including a glimpse of the ancient rock paintings. The decor is a little plain. It's had all amenities I needed including a Clothing Styler. Housekeeping was great. The hotel is close by Taewhagang station and the express bus terminal is also relatively close by. Convience store is close by.
