Clean, calm, 30min drive from the city, about 45min from the airport. The room is big enough and you have a desk to work. The WiFi works well in the property. We really enjoyed our stay at Lion Hotel. We booked a junior suite and it was an excellent size, with plenty of space for luggage and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was large, equipped with a hair dryer, bath, and free toiletries. The hotel also helpfully stored our luggage while we took a side trip to Semey, which made things much easier for us. The location is convenient, close to a university with a handful of restaurants, cafés, takeaways, supermarkets, and even some parks nearby. Breakfast is included, and you can choose from a set menu — a nice touch to start the day. Overall, a very comfortable and practical place to stay, especially if you’re looking for spacious rooms and good amenities.

Very clean place with friendly and helpful staff. My room overlooked the river. The hotel is located ight next to the river with a popular Cafe Boom right next door, where you can have an early morning breakfast too. The room had all the essentials like bathroom, shower, toilet, desk, chair, single sofa, coffee table, tv, fridge, etc. its the cheapest place you can find in Astana (Apart from hostels). Its location is awesome!
