Staff were very friendly and helpful! Helped us out with exchanging our Thai baht (gave us a good rate), booking the slow boat and even taught us some Laotian! Great location as well - close to a nice rooftop bar and the slow boat pier.

Our host helped us to organize Laotian SIM card, food for slowboat, gave us some important tips. Place was tidy and well maintained. The guesthouse is perfectly located. Being on the slowboat as one of first passengers has a huge advantage.

Booked last minute before the slow boat - very good value for a double room with ensuite and balcony. Room was large, clean and the bathroom was of a much better design than many. Nice communal terrace on the third floor too. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location on the main street with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. 1 min from the riverside.

You pay for what you get, crossing the border, spending the night. Booked in here my slow boat ticket. People in reception very kind. Wifi working, normal speed. Don't expect a lot on this town, you are just in passage.
