Everything we needed was found in this small but busy town, just north of Galle it's easily reached from Columbo or the airport using the highway. Compared to Hikkaduwa, Ambalangoda is smaller, has fewer tourists, felt more authentic. Easy to move around in a TukTuk. We mostly dined at Villa La Kurmba, great food! And with tuktuk or car You can go the beach, Ambalangoda or any pleace pretty easy. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. The Ganganada team took really good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, especially seafood lovers will appreciate it.
