Ravanna Garden is a boutique hotel like no other. The staff, food, rooms, garden, pool, beach are all exceptional. It is a little oasis in an otherwise busy world! On Arrival there is building works going on which a little off putting, but no one is disturbed by it and once walked beyond it you arrive into the oasis! The rooms are large, super clean and comfortable with every facility needed . NOTE - on arrival you are asked to let them know if ,and when, you would like your room cleaned. Remember this is an eco hotel, therefore how often do you really need your towels and linen changing ?! The food is exceptional, organic, local, and you can even buy their own local spices. The service throughout is excellent and they cannot do enough to ensure your stay with them is nothing short of everything you would like. A walk along the beach is must to the harbour wall where there is a safe swimming spot, and many of the locals converge there. Be brave and stay longer than 1 or 2 nights, it is very much well worth it - there are added surprises along the way and the team do everything they can. Bikes are available to go the local temple and a visit with a hotel guide to show the effects of the Tsunami is a must, plus the wildlife and roadside stores make for a very interesting visit.

So friendly and professional staffs made our stay perfect and wonderful! They first asked me if any special event for this trip and they prepared nice decorations each day for different occasions during our stay. Our family had a wonderful memories for this nice service. Their prepared interlocking rooms made our stay more comfortable. We specially appreciate to a very friendly staff named Tharindi for organizing everything so perfect for us. We will definitely miss this wonderful experience and come again for another happier time.

Casa Vacansa was the most surprisingly amazing accommodation of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The whole homestay is decorated with so much love and attention to detail, something we found missing in most other accommodations where everything is more "functional". The room, bathroom and especially the terrace were amazing and it's a nice and romantic atmosphere for two having your dinner on the big porch. The food was very good (we had Sri Lankan Sea Food Curry) and it was fantastic and the service even better. The owner has 15 years of experience in a luxury hotel and it just shows with his service and attention to detail and his great English. We also did 2 tours to the nearby bird sanctuary and the Ussangoda Beach with him and had a great time. The area is very quiet so it's a good getaway from the busy hustling and bustling of the coastal towns to relax and enjoy the quiet. I almost never write feedbacks but our stay here was just too great not to write one.

This hotel is an absolute gem in Sri Lanka. We've visited several places, and this is our favorite. It's beautifully located, allowing you to walk for miles along the beach without encountering anyone. The beach is pristine, free of litter, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The service is excellent, and the restaurant offers a delicious and diverse menu. There are plenty of excursion options nearby, with stunning wetlands and lagoons perfect for bird watching. This wonderful place has been crafted with great care. Interestingly, it is also very affordable compared to other hotels. It's definitely worth traveling a bit further to enjoy this exceptional and beautiful spot. An absolute must-visit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We love everything! Highly recommend :) Room was the best view, ocean was so close, there was AC, good WiFi, nice pool. We asked the driver who took us at airport. We enjoyed beach and silence around. Tasty breakfast with fresh juice, nice staff

If you’re travelling south coast, this is a MUST visit. Host was amazing, arranged everything we wanted. Great food (cooked by his mother), both dinner & breakfast. The place itself is also amazing, beautiful house with private garden and table. He also arranged our safari to Udawalawa, 2 days after our stay.
