This is an absolutely fantastic hotel with amazing staff, surroundings and amenities. Being far from the city hustle and bustle and located almost on top of a mountain, it offers an incrediblly beautiful view of foggy mountains from the long balcony or swimming pool. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They will do their best to make your stay comfortable. A huge thank you to everybody and especially to the girls in the reception, the waiter with nice English pronunciation and the Cheif who made amazing dishes for us. Would definitely come back again when in Kandy or nearby.

Definitely one of our highlights. It’s a very nice place to relax with an amazing view!! There are only 5 rooms for guests, so it feels not crowded. We can recommend the deluxe room if it’s available, because for some dollars more u get a really big and special room with a beautiful view and big window. The chef is a very likable, far travelled man who speaks perfect English. From sky lodge we managed to get a PickMe for 1200 rupees to kandy but it was probably luck, as it’s a bit tricky that the PickMe will find you. Once you manage that, save the WhatsApp number of your driver :) if you have struggles with finding a PickMe, just ask the Hotel and they will help you. Without PickMe we payed one way between 1500 and 2000 rupees. But we are bad at bargaining:) If you wish for a nice and calm place with a great view - this is your choice!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The manager and the cook both went above and beyond to make sure we feel right at home and have everything we need. The location is in a more residential area and has a huge garden and pool. The room offers a stunning view over the beautiful landscape and was very modern with a very clean bathroom, hot water and AC. If you are looking for a very quiet stay outside of Kandy, I highly recommend Cogent Holiday Stay!

The staff were extremely helpful, and always extremely friendly. The price was extremely good for the quality of the hotel. The hotel is just outside of Candy, and not too far away from some amazing hill tea plantations. We rented a car with a driver, which was a very good value and I would certainly recommend.

The team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. One of the absolute highlights was the Seafood BBQ dinner. The freshness, preparation, and flavour of every dish was simply superb. Mount Havana is a rare gem — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and run by people who genuinely care about your comfort. The 9 people villa is stunning, and the swimming pool is natural without any chlorine. The views are spectacular. The bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms have the best showers with different water diffusers. Each room has its own en suite bathroom. Asanka, Harry and the rest of the staff were superb; they cooked the most delicious meal we've had in Sri Lanka, they washed our clothes within a few hours, they guided us around the property gardens and down to the river and river natural pool, they made sure we didn't go in the river where it is dangerous to swim and pointed out the safe places. They also answered any questions we had and helped us with our train from Kandy/Gampola to Ella. They also arranged for someone to come give us massages which we loved. We wanted to go out to explore the area but there was more than enough things to do in the property so we barely left the premises! I would totally recommend this accommodation!
