Definitely one of our highlights. It’s a very nice place to relax with an amazing view!! There are only 5 rooms for guests, so it feels not crowded. We can recommend the deluxe room if it’s available, because for some dollars more u get a really big and special room with a beautiful view and big window. The chef is a very likable, far travelled man who speaks perfect English. From sky lodge we managed to get a PickMe for 1200 rupees to kandy but it was probably luck, as it’s a bit tricky that the PickMe will find you. Once you manage that, save the WhatsApp number of your driver :) if you have struggles with finding a PickMe, just ask the Hotel and they will help you. Without PickMe we payed one way between 1500 and 2000 rupees. But we are bad at bargaining:) If you wish for a nice and calm place with a great view - this is your choice!

We had the privilege of staying at Kandy Dendrobium House, a true paradise nestled in the mountains just 30 minutes from Kandy. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a kindness and attention to detail that is rare to find when traveling. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a genuine experience, deeply connected to nature and to the heartfelt hospitality of Sri Lanka. The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. A special thank you goes to the wonderful people who made our stay so memorable: • Dilshad Farook, the naturalist, who passionately guided us through the area’s rich biodiversity, turning every walk into a small adventure. • Malindu, the manager, always present, professional, and attentive to every need. • Dharma Sri, Sandeepa, Asanga, Marlon, always present, attentive, ready to assist us with warmth and discretion. • Ravindra, the chef, who delighted us daily with delicious, authentic dishes prepared with great skill. • Mahanama, our driver, kind, reliable, and always with a smile, making every journey safe and pleasant. Thanks to all of you, Kandy Dendrobium House was not just a travel destination — it became a home away from home, a place we will always carry in our hearts. Since the booking, comunication with hotel was very good. They were so kind to acomplish with some of our requests for the time of arrival, everything went so smooth. Breakfast was so good and also 10 for great service provided. Ps: not to say about the view😍 Thank you for having us!

We had an unforgettable experience at Blue Waters Edge Kandy. The view of the river was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable with luxury touches—plus the AC worked perfectly, which was a big plus. The food was so delicious, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended

Excellent location Need road leading to the htl be renovated. Breakfast can be improved including table arrangements and background soft music to add serene values. Food was so good and tasty Staff were superb and much caring and friendly with professional approach. Nice and wonderful place to be.

AMAZING STAY. Janaka and his wife are adorable and so hospitable. The place was very peaceful and the views are incredible. Janaka’s wife’s cooking was also nothing short of amazing! Would highly recommend and plan to come back one day in the future!
