Location, view, cleanliness extremely friendly sevice especially Mr Shaam operation manager who invited us for complimentary high tea as it was Eid day also provided snacks for travelling back to Colombo. Amazing, exceptional, and very well thought out - That’s how we would describe our stay here While one has been to many (arguably) more scenic locations, however staying at this hotel has been the best experience ever. From the moment we got to the property, we were pampered thoroughly, be it the food or offering to take us to the attractions or arranging the specific vehicle we wanted, or even the smallest details in terms of how the room should be kept, table arrangements etc. Must say that Dushyanta (the GM) has put in a lot of efforts in finding the best team possible and the results are there to be seen – every person on the staff here is willing to go over and beyond their job, wanting to make sure the guests are comfortable. Special thanks to Chef Royce, the pastry chef and their entire team for serving sumptuous 6 course meals, catering to all our dietary constraints - each item served was just plain delicious; to Janaka, Chandu and others for taking care of us and to Amanda for figuring out our travel related details. We will surely be back next time we are in Sri Lanka.

Cottage San Francesco is a place that you can't miss in Nuwara Elyia! We loved the place, location and room it was very clean, moreover the host gave us a better a room with a wonderful view without adding any cost, where we enjoyed a breath breaking sunset! The breakfast was so delicious while enjoying a beautiful view on the hills, honestly the best food we had in sri lanka! Services as tuk tuk or driver are provided easily from the host. The tuk tuk guy helped us discovering hills tea factory and he was also very nice to go around with a local one! This is the perfect place where spend some nights to take a rest and relax! Don't miss this place!!

We would give 15 out of 10 if it is possible. Place is very nice, clean, comfortable. We were group of 5 and used 2 rooms, both were great. Young couple who runs this place are very nice, helpful. We also had breakfast in guest house and it was fresh and tasty. View from the house is something special. House is out of center but with tuk tuk you will need no more than 5 minutes. We slept very good due to fresh air and calmness.
