The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The room is very big with a nice small terrace in the back facing the pool. The hosts are amazing! They made our one night stay very enjoyable even though it rained so bad. We did a safari with them in block 5 and 6. The tour guide was very good.

Everything was exceptional. The room was very spacious, clean, along with the bathroom, and it also offered a balcony overlooking the garden and the pool. The pool was also very clean, with a good atmosphere after sunset when the whole garden was lit up with various colored lights. Delicious breakfast was also included, which was packed for us and delivered to our room at 5 am on the day of our safari, the other day it was served to the cafeteria. Lunch and dinner can be ordered from the menu (western or sri lankan) which was also very delicious. However the highlight was the hospitality, every staff member was extremely helpful and kind. They even helped us with our bags, served us a welcome drink and attended to all of our needs. We will definitely come back in the future if we can. Eszter & Karim

Everything. There's so great. I really didn't expect it to be any better than I had anticipated. When I arrived, the owner gave me snacks and coconut water, a big room and owner tour this velliege for me. The owner prepared breakfast for me. After safari, I have watermelon, juice, and ice cream. I'm so glad that I came to Tissamaharama and stayed at this house. I was reluctant to leave Tissamaharama. On the bus, I felt very moved and shed tears. The owner takes me to the bus stop. He even texted me to confirm I was safe when I stayed next place.

This is set in the most beautiful area! Right near a lagoon with so much wildlife as well as nearby local villages. The owner was so helpful and did everything he could to make our stay the best! His wife cooked a brilliant sri Lankan meal for us, including Buffalo curd for desert, which was delicious. He organized a great safari for us at Yala. He also took us out for a tour for about 2 hours around the local area and showed us local wildlife and other important parts, which was amazing! So pretty! This was a small cost and so worth it! If we had time, we would have stayed longer. Beds comfortable, rooms beautiful, lovely balcony at the front of the property. It's one of our favorite stays!

We loved everything ! Mithila is the best host we ever get ! Rooms are clean with all the needed equipment and AC. But the most important is that she organized us the best safari ! Location, Staff, food, facilities everything is so so good. The staff were so lovely and welcomed us with a tender coconut welcome drink even though we reached there a little late. We ordered dinner, and without hesitation, they prepared it for us. I travelled with elderly family members with so many dietary restrictions, they accompanied us with smiles. Sampath our chef there is amazing and so humble. The whole place is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden full of flowers. Overall, we started our Srilanka trip in this place, they have us a positive vibration and a good vibe for our entire trip. I strongly recommend this place whether you travel alone or with your family. Additionally, book a safari with them, great drivers are available to make your Yala Safari memorable trip as well.
