Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. An exceptional family stay, in December 2024, this was a newly built facility. The family run hotel had a homely atmosphere, everyone was super friendly and polite. The owner has put a lot of thought into the layout and details of the whole hotel. The room are expansive, very comfortable and immaculately clean. The private balconies offer great views over the picturesque rice fields and beyond to the lake. The gardens are teaming with birds. The pool is well maintained, and very welcome after a long journey. The food was super fresh and very tasty, home cooked in a very clean open air kitchen. The owner arranged our Yala safari. We had a very enjoyable stay, in hide sight we should have stayed longer.

Host was amazing! Went above and beyond for us. Price also included a delicious dinner and breakfast - worth the money just for that alone. Host also sorted out our safari and let us check out late after this. Would 100% recommend this property.

We stayed here for three nights and it was wonderfull! A lovely host, a very nice room and fantastic surroundings. Randy took us three times on a tour (for free) where he explained us a lot about the region, the plants and the animals. It is a good place for bird watching! It is a quiet place, but still a good spot for doing a safari at Yala. At the evening he and his wife cook local dishes with own products from the garden. An absolut recommendation, especially when you want to see more than Yala NP.

The couple that run Lavender Home Yala Safari are absolutely lovely and really welcoming. We stayed 2 nights in the family room and it was spacious and clean. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the Devilled Prawns. Their laundry service was quick. They also helped us organise our Yala safari with one of their regular drivers and he was great. We got very lucky and spotted a leopard up close as it crossed the road.
