We loved the pool, temperature was perfect. From the pool we had a view of the river, there was plenty of birdlife to watch, also saw mongoose and large lizard. The owner really cares about the service he is providing. The meals were all amazing and he was accommodating when on the second day we only wanted a light lunch of sandwiches. He organised a good safari for us and was there as we left for safari even though it was 5am. Really recommend this accommodation.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay! For Sri Lanka, this was exceptionally high-standard accommodation — new, spotlessly clean, and it really gives off hotel vibes. The pool is amazing — large, beautifully maintained, and lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The owner is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — always available, incredibly friendly, smiling, and genuinely helpful. He even accompanied us to the bus stop on our departure day and stopped the bus for us, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious. This is amaizing natural place on the bank of the river with big very old trees where you can see a lot of birds and another wild life. The house is made with only natural materials with passion and love. Host are unique and the food too. Such a welcoming, lovely family in a beautiful property. Great accommodation, they get you to the nearest pool if you like. it was such a beautiful one and own pool.
