Beautiful boutique hotel with a style we loved — so much that we extended our stay by an extra night. Peaceful, nature-rich setting that offers real tranquility away from the city. Excellent service throughout. Complimentary guided tour of the plantation and surrounding nature was a highlight, thanks to an outstanding guide.

Santani is an one of a kind hotel. Hung by the mountains, it is a place to relax and recharge. The staff is absolutely amazing, food is divine with either Sri Lanka option or European. The view from the hotel is absolutely unique. The rooms are beautiful, very well designed, and comfortable. Spa facilities (we haven’t tried the massages) are also unique.

Great place with very tidy and comfortable rooms! It is a bit away from the city center, but it was rather an advantage for us - to take rest from the city. The AC works well and the accommodation was really clean. Manju is great host, gave us few helpful tips for our further journey!

Everything at Ferndale is designed to offer a personal and intimate experience. The small-scale setting and personalized service make the stay truly unique. Ferndale’s philosophy is rooted in nature and respect for the ecosystem. It is a luxury hotel where sustainability and eco-friendliness take top priority. All food is locally and organically sourced, adding to the authenticity of the experience. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who shared his vision with great passion and pride, making us appreciate the concept even more. The retreat is located in the breathtaking Knuckles Mountain Range, near Kandy. The untouched nature makes it a perfect destination for stunning hikes, which are thoughtfully organized by the team. Along the trails, you can discover hidden waterfalls and encounter unique endemic wildlife. Lastly, we must highlight the outstanding service and incredible food. The staff goes the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. The meals are amazing because of the freshness of the ingredients and the dedication put into every dish. Make sure to try the icecream :-)! For anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and warm, personal hospitality, we can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We stayed at the French Garden for 2 nights. We enjoyed it very much. The staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were clean and pretty modern. They helped us with everything. Two of them even spoke French, which helped us a lot. I recommend the French Garden for anyone who wants to find peace and quiet in nature after a long day.

It was a lovely modern property with spacious rooms and a nice clean pool. In the rooms, there was a both a fan and air conditioning. Downstairs, there was a lounge area and dining area which was very welcoming. The breakfast was great, a variety of fruits, eggs, and toast. The hosts were very welcoming, they were happy to provide a freshly cooked delicious dinner as there wasn’t a huge selection in town.

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
