The stay was planned very last minute but still managed to be absolutely perfect! The team was very helpful, friendly and kind. We were greeted with cold lime soda on arrival. Our room was a dream! Spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable. There is a also kitchen equipped with the basic facilities. The view is beautiful, looking over the pool and so many palm trees. It’s not on the beach, so either you walk to Unawatuna Beach (around 30 min) or you can make arrangements with the tuktuk driver that works for the hotel. The location itself is very peaceful and quiet so if you are looking to relax fully, this is the place to be. The pool area was also lovely and clean. Also, three rabbits hopping around was a pleasant surprise :) A short 4-5 min walk leads to the main street where there is a market, bakery, a bit further down a bank. All in all, it was absolutely wonderful and would have loved to stay longer!

Had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Cabin Unawatuna! The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny—great value for the price. The overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Galle. Looking forward to coming back!

I had an amazing stay at Green Escape Unawatuna! From the moment we arrived, the welcome was incredibly warm and helpful. The staff assisted us with our luggage and gave us a great tour of our room. The room itself was fantastic: the bathroom was top-notch, and the bed was super comfortable. We slept really well without any disturbances, unlike some other places in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, like a grand buffet with plenty of options. The pool was another highlight clean, warm, and perfect for a relaxing swim. The staff throughout our stay were consistently friendly and attentive. We also dined at their restaurant yesterday, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was smiling and super helpful. A special thank you to Tharushi, Sadew, and Oshadi for making our stay even more memorable! I highly recommend Green Escape Unawatuna for a fantastic stay!

We spent great time in this hotel: room in European style, big and clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing big shower room! There was a lot off useful things in our room - cosmetics, safe, beach towels, hats and bag. Personal was very smiling and helpful. Thank you, Kings Landing!

Beautiful hotel with a wonderful view of the sea, modern and with all facilities. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, helpful and welcoming. The hotel manager and the receptionist were amazing, the best service we ever had. Extremely nice environment in the middle of the jungle, genuine and unspoiled. The excursions we made advised by the hotel manager and the beautiful young lady at the reception were unforgettable and we are really thankful for the opportunity to visit this special places. Thank you for the hospitality and for a holiday that learned us so much about the beautiful Sri Lanka.

I liked everything! We first booked Room in another hotel but there were some problems. We then booked room At Nor Lanka and arrived 10 minutes after-everything was ready. Room was big and clean,we didn’t have problems with mosqitoes. Beach is very close,they also let you borrow towel and sunscreen for beach for free. But what I loved the most was the atmosphere;everybody was so nice and helpful,hotel is nicely decorated so we felt Like home.There is a big garden,we enyoed watching birds and squirrels while having breakfast. Breakfast was also amazing.the only thing I regret is not spending more nights At this place

    All sea view rooms and the room we stayed in was very spacious . A few minutes walk to jungle beach. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements to get our meals sorted. There is a kitchen and if we bring the raw materials we can even cook on our own , just need to pay them for the space we use. Over all I enjoyed unwatuna because it was conveniently located too.

    Great place to go we stayed three nights I would stay less. Slightly more expensive than Mirrisa and the tourist are mainly Russian. Turtle beach is great. Recommend as best place to see turtles for free .

    Sadly not a lot to do here. Restaurants menus are similar where ever you choose to eat. Shopping is limited. Beach was good and fairly clean. A weekend (2 nights) would've been plenty of time to spend in Ulawatuna. Lots of tuk tuks around but constantly pestered being asked if I needed one. Lots of people selling things on the beach, some are very persistent. Also had people approach begging for money. 1 followed me for 5 minutes and kept trying to grab my arm.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach. There are lots of places to stay and eat. We ate in 2 good places, one on the beach with varied food, mostly fish, very good and one Sri Lankan food which was great A downside is that behind the beach is a bit of a shop/cafe/rooms strip. But you don’t have to go there

    Unawatuna has a long and beautiful white sand beach and a turquoise blue sea. It's a good base for those wishing to visit attractions in southern sri lanka (national parks/tea plantations etc.), but is not very lively in terms of nightlife, and I was surprised to find around 80% of other tourists were Russianr.

    Unawatuna beach is a nice beach behind a reef with turtles swimming and snorkeling. It has a narrow sand strip and at high tide the water comes up to the wall. there were a number of families, local and foreign with young children playing in the shallow part and feeding the turtles. There are a number of restaurants along the beach.

    The staff are super friendly. Ranjit helped us and make us feel welcome. Our room was big and spacious with a good bathroom. We had a stunning view of the peace stupa from our room too and the beach. The cocktails on the lounge upstairs were so delicious and the infinity pool is perfect! We also had dinner here one night - very yummy and huge portions. They also do an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast - very hearty! There’s also a free Tuktuk shuttle from the hotel to Jungle Beach (which is so so beautiful) I would definitely stay here again.

    Fantastic stay at Lara’s Place. Stayed in the penthouse with incredible huge wrap around balcony with stunning views over Unawatuna and the Indian Ocean. Was so peaceful and serene on the hill away from the noise of main beach. Lara the owner is such a great host, so helpful and accomodating with any requests, organising tuks tuks making recommendations etc. he made us feel so welcome and relaxed. Oh and the Sri Lankan breakfasts were so yummy and generous. Best egg hoppers I had during my 4 weeks in Sri Lanka.

    Breakfast was excellent. The hotel has its own little beach which made for a lovely view at breakfast and at sunset. About 20mins walk to Dalawella and Unawatuna beaches and main restaurants. Powerful and hot shower. Tharuk was welcoming and a very good host, he was very helpful with finding out transportation times for me. Bus stop within a matter of seconds from the property.
