Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The facilities, the staff, their professionalism throughout our visit, and their kindness were outstanding. They even invited us to join the birthday celebration of two employees, which was amazing. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely return without a doubt. I really liked the location, however, you need to take a tuktuk to go to the center. The hotel is located rather on the outskirts of Unawaruna, but it's good as it was quiet and calm. Breakfast was very good: pancakes, eggs, fruts, toasts etc. The swimming pool is a gem! Big, warm water and open in the evening so you may swim before going to bed, very nice. There are lizards and bunnies in the garden. If you're lucky bunnies might accompany you during breakfast. In general, it the place is amazing, but I would rather recommend to avoid rooms with garden view on the ground floor. This is the room we got in the beginning but we decided to upgrade as it was very dark (like in the middle of the night), basically no view, and small. Also, an open bathroom is not always a good choice - it will be mess after rain or wind, bugs and leaves inside. After an upgrade, it was awesome and the price difference was small, it was worth an upgrade.

We spent great time in this hotel: room in European style, big and clean, very comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing big shower room! There was a lot off useful things in our room - cosmetics, safe, beach towels, hats and bag. Personal was very smiling and helpful. Thank you, Kings Landing!

Incredible hotel. Architecture is great. Room was huge with spectacular sea view. Staff was super attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food as well. The staff arranged in room massage that was excellent, and we also enjoyed a Sri Lankan cooking class on the pool deck that was a real treat. This hotel is splurge but very much worth it.

    All sea view rooms and the room we stayed in was very spacious . A few minutes walk to jungle beach. The staff was friendly and even made arrangements to get our meals sorted. There is a kitchen and if we bring the raw materials we can even cook on our own , just need to pay them for the space we use. Over all I enjoyed unwatuna because it was conveniently located too.

    Great place to go we stayed three nights I would stay less. Slightly more expensive than Mirrisa and the tourist are mainly Russian. Turtle beach is great. Recommend as best place to see turtles for free .

    Sadly not a lot to do here. Restaurants menus are similar where ever you choose to eat. Shopping is limited. Beach was good and fairly clean. A weekend (2 nights) would've been plenty of time to spend in Ulawatuna. Lots of tuk tuks around but constantly pestered being asked if I needed one. Lots of people selling things on the beach, some are very persistent. Also had people approach begging for money. 1 followed me for 5 minutes and kept trying to grab my arm.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach.

    Unawatana has a splendid beach. There are lots of places to stay and eat. We ate in 2 good places, one on the beach with varied food, mostly fish, very good and one Sri Lankan food which was great A downside is that behind the beach is a bit of a shop/cafe/rooms strip. But you don’t have to go there

    Unawatuna has a long and beautiful white sand beach and a turquoise blue sea. It's a good base for those wishing to visit attractions in southern sri lanka (national parks/tea plantations etc.), but is not very lively in terms of nightlife, and I was surprised to find around 80% of other tourists were Russianr.

    Unawatuna beach is a nice beach behind a reef with turtles swimming and snorkeling. It has a narrow sand strip and at high tide the water comes up to the wall. there were a number of families, local and foreign with young children playing in the shallow part and feeding the turtles. There are a number of restaurants along the beach.

    If you've ever wanted to go to Sri Lanka, go now! Super nice and helpful people, no crowds even on the most tourist trails and attractions, kindness and smile at every step. Unawatuna Center Point Villa is, above all, perfectly located. It is located practically in the jungle, on the way to the beautiful Jungle Beach, and there are two top-rated restaurants in Unawatuna within walking distance :) The facility is well-kept and clean, and the family that runs it is very nice. We spent a wonderful few days there with my wife and daughter.

    Great location close to beach ⛱️ bars 🍸 and food 👌 ! 2nd visit to this hotel we stayed 4 nites in room 201 not sure if other rooms have been updated but I think a comfy chair would be great, and it's so hot on the balcony the addition of a simple fan would have been amazing, sorry just my opinion, but still a great place to stay when visiting unawatuna 🌴🌴🌴! Curry and rice Cafe downstairs is very yummy 😋

    The new restaurant on the small pontoon in the pond is romantic and beautiful. They came to serve the food promptly, even though the kitchen is far away. One of the most striking features of the hotel is its old, extensive garden. The building is full of character and evokes old times. The hotel is walking distance from Unawatuna beach where you can swim, have lunch or dinner in various good beachside places.

    Our host was amazing - Extremely helpful and friendly. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. We also had the luxury of walking straight onto the beach, from the property gardens.
