Amazing, smaller national park.
Amazing, smaller national park. More of a wild, intimate experience than it's massively over subscribed cousins. We were in very close contact with a family of elephants, (including baby) for at least 20 mins before another jeep arrived, and then it was only just the two vehicles.

Lovely national park, clean, quiet compared to other parks...
Lovely national park, clean, quiet compared to other parks in Sri Lanka. Fairly priced entrance fee, guide joins you on the jeep, but optional to tip them. Ours was superb and pointed out many things we would have missed otherwise.

• Good Sri Lankan village food and drinks with a smile
• Organized safari tours to see lots of elephants
• Clean comfortable rooms with hot water
• Beautiful lake next to the hotel
