This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

Hemantha & Lalith were just great hosts! They have really looked after me and were making sure I have a comfortable stay. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe and they were a great company as well. The location is great (out of town), quiet and relaxing, I have spotted monkeys and squirells roaming around, lot of birds. The facilities were clean, the tent as well. Make sure you do kayak in the afternoon for sunset it is just beautiful and worth the money! Mr. Lasantha, the manager has also made sure I have everything I need and arranged my dinner delivery to the camp, highly appreciated! Only the pillows and towels need some refreshing.

What a absolute gem of a place hidden in the Jungle, the building is elegant and and as soon as you arrive you are met by the most professional, smiling, warm hosts we have had on our entire trip. Upon arriving we felt totally relaxed as our hosts arrived with umbrellas and took our luggage, when inside the property we were given a warm towel and our stay was explained to us by Eranda, his warm and kind demeanour made us feel like we were at home. The property only has 2 rooms in the main house and this means you are very very well looked after. Our main host was Charminder who was an absolute delight to have met, he was so professional, caring and nothing was too much for him, he makes amazing speciality cocktails and accommodated our ask for a takeaway lunch as we were hiking the next day, this came in a sustainable box and was freshly cooked food, that was still warm when we ate it some 5 hours later. Eranda knows everything about wildlife, in particular snakes and birds, on our hike we encountered 2 snakes and with photos Eranda explained that both were not poisonous and then went on to teach us what features poisonous snakes have so we left having learnt potentially life saving information. I can not recommend The Capoe House and the team enough, this was our best stay of our trip and would return in a heartbeat.

To be honest ..there wasn't anything not to like ..the Staff were very welcoming and helpful and always available. Beautiful Peacefull surroundings in a very well maintained setting, the hotel offers plenty of facilities with pool and badminton area ....will definitely be coming again ...thank you so much

Absolutely unique place. I have been working in Sri Lanka for ten years now and every two to three months I need a reboot from the heat and bustle in the cooler climate. We tried many places in the mountains and seem to have found what we need: complete silence, away from the crowd, a “million dollars” view from the balcony (read your book while sitting in bean bag), a waterfall with a pond next to where you find yourself in an Indiana Jones movie (must get to the upper pond) and an very hospitable host. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten track, but it's worth it. Despite minor shortcomings and certain simplicity in the arrangement of rooms, everything is made with excellent taste and fantasy. Great homemade coffee, amazing grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes from their own garden and a personal touch. Couldn't expect more. I'll be back:)

I had such a lovely stay at Landa Holiday House! The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the garden is exquisite! The host speak very well english and the food is also good. I can recommend to stay here for multiple nights.
