The Bauska castle is fantastic!
The Bauska castle is fantastic! The restoration and collection of artifacts is amazing. Information is available in multiple languages for most of the displays. It is also near the palace at Rundale which is another restored gem.Guest review byVentaCanada - 10.0
The castle is very interesting to visit.
The castle is very interesting to visit. It has been restorated, but nicely. Good collection of old things and there are the old fashion costumes. Unfortunately the city is crowded with cars driving from Letland to Lithuania , because the route goes through Bauska. To visit Rindales palace just take the bus ( once an hour for 1 euro), it is 15 minutes driving. Please be careful when checking the times yo travel back. The Musa River and the peaceful surroundings with birds were wonderful. We desided to stay one night more there to get photos of all birds there.Two European white storks built a nest on a pillar in the hotel yard! What a joy!
