We enjoyed our three night stay at the Hotel Pelikan. Despite being located in a busy section of town, our room was surprisingly quiet despite the outside noise. Our room was small, basic and matched the pictures online plus comfortable and clean. Check in/out was smooth and easy, which included a welcome drink. Free street parking is available but can be crowded at times (although we always found a spot). The wifi connection was spotty. The breakfast was good with varied menu choices. Despite what's mentioned in other reviews we were asked but not pressured to book a boat tour. We elected not to which was fine with the hotel staff.

Mijo is the idle host in Skadar. He was also our Captain and instructor for 2 hours trip in the lake and hosted us for a great fish dinner with his wife - Sania. Very knowledgeable and kind host, and this is of great importance in this beautiful location.

I don’t have enough words to describe this magical experience. This place is heaven on earth and Nino & Nada are angels! Their welcoming was filled with stories about their house, their lives, tasting their homemade “grapa”, wine, and jam. They proudly showed us their land and endless gardens and beautiful grounds. Our room was very clean, neat and comfortable, with everything we needed. Nada cooked for us a delicious dinner, that included soup, salad, main courses, desert, fruits and wine! Breakfast was another delicious experience. We felt so spoiled!! Nino arranged a boat tour for us, and even drove us to town, since parking can be difficult. He also picked us up when we were done. They are constantly at your service with so much love and gratitude. Our stay was one of the best we’ve ever had in all our years of travels. After our stay, we had to go back to pick up something we left behind and once again, Nino and Nada welcomed us with open arms, homemade juice and pastries. I highly recommend this place as the best experience you’ll ever have!

Excellent apartment host — we received clear check-in instructions, got help with any questions, and were even offered entertainment. The apartment is better suited for one person or a couple, as it's not very large, but it’s well-equipped, clean, and cozy.

Staff was amazing, really kind and helpful with everything. Running family business with love! Thank you for nice breakfast, really tasty fish for dinner and all information and help which you provided for us. Meals were amazing! Supper was a 4 course meal. The costs of everything were very reasonable, the hosts are welcoming and accommodating. The family also makes its own wine. The area, a bit out of town, was beautiful, is located in the mountains. The lovely stone building has been in the family for over 200 years and run by the family. I felt completely at home. Highly recommend.
