We didn’t use the terrace and mostly stayed indoors because of the insects, but the view from the bed is still amazing with the large glass sliding doors. We read reviews about the toilet being outside the house and were a bit concerned, but it’s just outside the main door so it’s not too bad. Didn’t meet the host but he was very responsive on WhatsApp and suggested many things for us to do.

Vida and Ratko are wonderful hosts. Vida welcomed us with great hospitality, providing us with coffee and a delicious homemade cake. The place is perfect for connecting with nature. It has an incomparable view of the mountains and the canals of Skadar lake. This was our last night in Montenegro, and Vida and Ratko made it unforgettable. Everything except of the approach to the location of the apartment! It was in the hills. But everything else, mostly breakfast was the best. I really recommend it when you want to experience nothing too common. You can this way experience even a bit of Montenegro common life.

    It is perfect to plan a trip closer to the mountains and lake skadar. For me two nights was the perfect amount of time. I recommend using kingfisher for lake skadar tour and eating at Grill House Roštiljijada Was the highlight of the stay!

    It's a really small village down the road.

    It's a really small village down the road. Nice views but this is it, do not expect any attractions. It's basically a good spot to stay for the night while travelling in between different Montenegro localisation (for example if you're planning a boat trip over Skadarlake) Vranjina is a good 1-3 night stay for a cheap price with great local food (prices way better than in the nearby Virpazar). I highly recommend Restoran Obala, amazing food, huge portions and friendly staff.
