We loved how unique our accommodation was; we stayed in the Train Wagon. The staff, especially the lady who received us was super inviting and happy to share tips on what local food we should try for dinner. I had some form of stir fried vegetables which were absolutely delicious!

The people working there were super nice! Very helpful and always smiling! Food was also very good. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a fireplace which was amazing for the slightly cold nights we had when we were there. Morning wake up with the sounds of nature, outside our bedroom window there was a choir of birds which gave us the best morning wake up. Laundry service was also great! Fast, and perfectly done with a great fresh smell! We stayed there to visit Ranomafana National Park, which was about an hour drive to reach it.

The building and its facilities were old, but the place had some great advantages that made up for it. It was in a good location, with lots of restaurants nearby and the Soatrans bus station just a short distance away. During my stay, I was able to take a taxi-brousse for a day trip to visit both Anja Park (a community reserve) and Ranomafana National Park. I really enjoyed the food at the hotel's restaurant, so I had dinner there with a beer. The manager, Mika, was always smiling and friendly, and he kindly gave me all the travel information I needed. Thanks to him, I was able to relax and rest well, both physically and mentally.

The hotel has a very nice view over the city and is closely located to the old town. The colonial style house is really nice. The staff super friendly. And we had one of the best dinners and breakfasts in Madagascar. All of this at an attractive price level.

Very polite, helpful and professional staff. Clean room and bathroom. Beautiful view of the city from the upper balcony. the food is delicious. Close to shops and restaurants. Internet access in the hotel is also a big advantage.
