    Quiet fishing bay with more locals than tourists. Water is super clean here and safe swimming straight off the rocks. Great beach bars with tasty food and fantastic happy hours. A fabulous array of super high quality restaurants (not cheap). TalFamija and Nargile Lounge were particularly good along with Legends for cocktails.

    + Plenty of opportunity to enjoy food, drinks. + Very nice local buildings (old and new). The "Corsairs and Pirates" Museum in the St Thomas Tower ( and the tower itself) is a non-advertised hidden pearl of the island. + Small enough to walk around on foot + Close enough to a long list of "must see" places. - There are better beach areas on Malta.

    Relaxing village with an active but not too busy, harbour. Mainly the local Maltese and tourists with families or couples/small groups. Not many from England. Great pizza parlour on the harbour. Taj-Familja was a fabulous family run fish restaurant about 10mins from property. Recommend them both.

    I wouldn't recommend the town because everything is full of garbage. People just throw garbage on the streets. I liked the promenade by the sea. Public transport is good. The town is well connected by bus lines.

    A safe and social harbour with lots of good restaurants from fine dining to burger bars. Something for everyone. Frequented by tourists and locals. Good local buses from the centre to other villages and small beaches. Only half hour from historic Valetta and the airport.

    Lovely little harbour town - with fishing trade very much at its core. Very traditional vibe and felt very safe during the day and night. Local shops and pharmacy nearby and a beautiful mix of bars/restaurants that cater for all.

    We always stay in hotel, and the staff have always been very polite and friendly. We were offered a newly acquired apartment, a stones throw from main hotel, it was a 3 bedroom and very spacious, 2 bathrooms 3 balcony's can see the sea from front and back ideal for family. I would request one of these apartments if we take others with us in the future. We still had full use of the hotel's facility's breakfast each morning

    Everything was so nice from that we stepped in to the lobby until we checked out. The hotel staff was always very friendly and very helpful and the room (401)with is fantastic balcony having a view over the bay and Marsascala countryside. The hotel vis very clean and nicely renovated we were very pleased with everything. Thanks for a lovely stay.

    We spent a week there in Marsaskala, the apartmant was great, exactly the same like on the pictures. The view from the terrace is amazing, the kitchen is well eqiupped, aircondition is a life safer in Malta. If you rent a car there is always feee parking spaces in front of the building! Highly recommended!

    Room had balcony overlooking the harbour. We enjoyed that a lot. Restaurants and bars at walking distance. Found street parking right behind the hotel. Room was beautifully finished and spacious.
