From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. The staff at this hotel truly set it apart. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, the restaurant, or housekeeping, was marked by professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering thoughtful touches that exceeded my expectations. The accommodations were impeccable—clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is a testament to the dedication of the entire team. A special thank you to Utam, Kavi and Dess for their outstanding service. It’s rare to encounter such a passionate and committed group of people, and they made my stay unforgettable. Everything about Shanti Maurice is outstanding! Where do I start? It is one of the most thoughtfully conceptualised properties I have stayed at. From the flora and fauna, the avian population, to the beautifully designed rooms and common areas, it reflects an ethos of sustainable luxury. The spa should be on your list when you stay at the property. It is for a reason that they are the top rated spa in Mauritius. My aesthetician was Sheila, and she was amazing. I actually dozed off during the facial, that is how good she was! Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway in very natural surroundings with spectacular views from each room!

Anusha and Krishan are the friendlies hosts you can imagine, they are very helpful and try to make your stay a home away from home. The breakfast ist plentiful and really tasty (one of the best breakfasts we ever had). They are Always their and happy to have a chat. If we come back to Surinam, we would for sure stay with them. The two Restaurants nearby are really good too.

Rooftop terrasse with an almost 360degrees view including ocean and mountains. Everything is very clean and you get every answer you need. Even a doctor coming home will be arranged for you if necessary, not to mention all the love to get well again as soon as possible. :) 5min walk to the big supermarket, 5-10min walk to Gris Gris beach. Wonderful resort with carefully mantained garden. Wide beach with white sand and clear water, perfect for swimming or snokeling. Nice swimming pools, not very crowded. Great all inclusive package- large variety of dishes, different every day and a good variety of drinks. We appreciated the sunset beach party - it would have been nice to have more of them, lasting latter in the evening. Professional band playing in the evening at the main swimming pool and interesting shows. The furniture in the rooms is a bit outdated, but it does not spoil the overall feeling of well-being.
