This was a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The rooms were large, clean, and had a kitchenette and air conditioning that worked very well. If you don't have a car, it's about a 30- minute walk into Centro along a somewhat busy road. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

The tranquility. Old school like camping with all the amenities. Very close to walk to the beach about 5 minutes. Great restaurant across the street. Fridge microwave and good shower pressure. Eco friendly. Cabana up front of property has cooking equipment to cook food for yourself. Use of bikes and beach chairs to the beach etc. Great value. Pool has shallow end and nice and cool to relax. Very friendly staff.

    Chelem is a quiet fishing village with a huge expat community, mainly Canadians and Americans. All the typical services are located in town like restaurants, gas station, convenience stores, pharmacies, grocery store, etc. The beaches are not crowded which is great! Easy drive to Progreso or Merida. Nice place to relax by the seaside.

    Easy small beach town to navigate. The people we met were friendly. There quite a few small family restaurants available, and one awesome cafe (Costal Cafe). If you are a seafood lover, this is the place.

    Crowds free beaches, clear water.

    Crowds free beaches, clear water. We loved the beach and the village, though there is not much of a night life in Chelem. If you are looking for night bars and crowds Progreso would be a better choice. But if you are looking for romantic beaches and small family run restaurants Chelem is your holiday destination. I recomend the accomodation of El Paraiso de Capitan Fernando for the clean pool and beach front area and very very kind hosts Daniele and Yahiara

    Murial, was a wonderful and very helpful host. The 2 bedroom apartment was very nice, clean, modern and quiet. The beach is very nice and beautiful. The pool is nice. The entire experience was perfect. Would strongly recommend yjis place. Chelem is safe and a wonderful place. It's not the busy hustle of other places.

    This was absolutely the best place we stayed in during our trip to Yucatan. The apartment looks amazing and the equipment is great. There is everything you need. The pool area is great and there is a nice beach right in front of the building. The owner is very helpfull. Plus Chelem is a really nice place to visit.

    Villa was lovely with a gorgeous view of the garden/pool and nice view of the ocean, especially from the roof top. Property Manager, Muriel, was awesome, great restaurant recommendations. Location is perfect - right on the beach and a couple of blocks from Chelem. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

    The apartment is well furnished and comfortable. The inner yard with the pool is amazing. It’s right on the beach, it’s safe and minutes on foot from Chelem centro. Fair warning, use the directions provided on Booking, Google maps is a bit out of whack for the area.

    The service is excellent. The management and staff were amazing. The drinks by Dorris was the best I’ve ever had. The hotel was so good, I didn’t have any faults. I was very sad to leave as we had the best vacation. I’ll definitely come back.
