Woow , i don’t even know where to begin, this Hotel will make your vacation worthy. We felt like home, the service is out of this world! Its beauty is way more than perfect in real than on picture! I loved to be here , and i will come by anytime given a chance. Thank you so much guys for everything! They even tuck you in for Bed, they are ready to help you with anything. To Gerardo you were so kind and loving not forgetting Marua , Diego and other names i dont have . Thank you so much

Amazing paradise in the jungle. Very stylish rooms with private indoor pool and little details aimed at making your stay romantic. Great food at the local restaurant. Absolutely amazing pool - the largest (longest) we have ever seen. Very professional staff - we felt being taken personal care of all the time. Special thanks for late checkout. Separate special thanks to Leo, who is a master-waiter, and to everyone at the reception desk - we really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the Milam to anyone visiting Tulum.

The location in the forest was perfect, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food and drinks were amazing, near to a couple of awesome cenotes. Staff 10/10 Facilities 10/10 Location 10/10 - based on the fact that we were searching for something remote. Amazing pools The road is a bit rough to the location but manageable, when we left they were amending it. (that;s how the roads are even when you want to go to the beaches from the main road). And the staff is just amazing.

Set in the jungle near Tulum, there are three pools, and a gorgeous green lagoon with bar and food service and extremely comfortable lounging, paddle boards and kayaks. We did both tours with the amazing Gonzo; Cenote underground water tour and the Mayan Village Tour on bikes. These were the highlights of our vacation so do not miss -- our older teens just loved them! During our stay we saw iguanas, bats, giant spiders, and a boa constrictor. Note, there were no crocs in the lagoon! There were three options for the included breakfast (plus a fruit bowl, granola, honey and yogurt, coffee and a fresh juice). Options were pancakes or waffles with maple syrup, eggs and bacon with salad, or a traditional Mexican chiquillies with an egg and green or red salsa. Each of our family had a different preference for breakfast which we enjoyed. Breakfast was so filling we could last until late afternoon until our next meal. As we had rented a car we visited nearby Akumal and Puerto Aventuras for meals (another traveler recommended AVIS for car rental). We spent four nights at Wakax. If you have a car, I suggest a three night stay so you can do both tours. BTW, if you have claustrophobia you may not like the cenote tour. The bikes are great fun, staff and owners are very friendly, the rooms are huge and right out of a glossy travel magazine, and the setting is out of this world!

Great vibe of the place thanks to the owners - both Alejandra and Fernando are so kind and helpful! Wonderful breakfasts!! And of course, the mysterious Temazcal ritual - we tried it too, very intense and interesting experience, although it was too much for us and we failed to finish it. Try it if you're in Tulum!

My stay in Casa Teka was amazing and a great surprise. I begin saying that the infrastructure its something incredible, totally inspired in Tulum Vibe emanates a Holistic Retreat for your well-being through the "private" Cenote, the common areas, the rooms and the eco-trails inside the building that are an absolute inspiration to refresh your mind and spirit. About the service and amenities nothing was forgotten, including what I thought that was not included: Free Coffee/Expresso/Tea..., Fresh Water, Bicycles, Restaurant Discount (20%), Beach Towels, Taxi (with relevant Discount), Yoga mats, personalized customer service, ... and even more, Casa Teka its located in the best location of Tulum (Zona Hotelera). I cannot miss to mention the friendliness and kindness of the entire team. The hosts Tânia and Emanol were all the time available to help you with all your needs, they never missed with their availability and attention. Carlos and Marguerito became our buddies during our stay in Casa Teka, the 1st supporting us in the bar & restaurant and the 2nd driving us on our forays into the city, we had good moments of conversation with both without ever being intrusive, nevertheless all the staff are so friendly and helpful in a way that its very difficult to experience, I must leave a special word for the other teams members such as: Cleaning, Maintenance, Restaurant, Receptionists/Gate Keepers,... I can only say Thank You for making my stay in Casa Teka happier.

    As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be...

    As a family with tweens we did not enjoy Tulum & will not be back. The kids were not allowed many places/ restaurants. Algea covered the beach (it was july), the restaurants were priced higher than where we live but the quality of the food was poor. If you are a family I would skip and go elsewhere. The cenotes in the reason are awesome!

    Tulum is the jungle so go prepared. Repellent and sunscreen. Avoid taxi cabs it’s way too expensive. Opt to rent a car you will see way more of Tulum that way. Make sure to spend time at the cenotes. Avoid August because the seaweed makes the ocean unbearable.

    Once you know the right places to go, where to book transportation, which tours to take, I’m sure you will have the best experience and you won’t want to leave! The agency @xclusivetravelw helped me with concierge service with no charge, and they recommended the best spots, my camera roll is full of amazing content from Tulum.

    Tulum is a city you'd have to explore more, especially with car access which we didn't have. Things could get expensive fast with the transportation, souvenir shops, and cafes that cater to tourists. I spent $35 USD on brunch, which wasn't a lot or filling at all. Yet you turn the corner, and a birria taqueria fills you up for only $16 USD. Watch your spending.

    Tulum south is good, friendly and helpful people . It didn’t seem right to pay to visit paradise beech. No clear guidelines to visit beeches via resorts. We visited Tulum ruins but very unclear about the genuine ticket office as we were stopped at three places to buy tickets by unofficial representatives.

    It was just not the vibe for us.

    It was just not the vibe for us. As far as a beach location, they are not nice enough to be pristine and visit for the beaches. The hotel zone of Tulum is a packed road by the beach with hotel after hotel and boutique after boutique, and people everywhere. And again, the beach not that nice. The BEST part was the cenotes, and they are everywhere, but expensive to visit and swim in at $40 a pop. We visit Costa Rica a lot, and were hoping for a similar vibe but it was not. It is not lush or tropical, it is a town built up next to a beach, dry and hot and arrid. Casa Altamar, great restaraunt, Tulum Brewery, great restaurant and ceviche is stellar. Aktun Chen cenote is beautiful. Dos Ojos was pricey but the bat cave section was super cool. We also did a "snorkel" trip from Puerto Aventuras, but it was 15 minutes of snorkeling in rough waters, and 1 hour hanging out in the water and drinking. This area and it's activities seem to be ideal for partying, girls trips etc. and not really enjoying the beauty of nature. We are all looking for something different.

    Beautiful boutique hotel/hostel in the centre of Tulum. Great if you are looking for more laid-back, bohemian, artsy vibes. We took the twin room and it was very cozy and also had working air conditioning and fan. The vibe in the general area is great, very relaxed with an amazing bar and pool. The personnel was very generous and kind and helped us in every way. The breakfast was included in the price but absolutely amazing. The premise also has bicycles you can use for free.

    Alex on reception was fantastic! He gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. and on my birthday I came back after going out and the room was decorated with a birthday banner and balloons. It was such a lovely surprise. Armando was very helpful too with beach recommendations. The catering staff were lovely as well. We loved our room. It was spacious, well decorated, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is really well situated for bars and restaurants in Tulum Centro.

    Beautiful hotel in Tulum with excellent service by the staff. We loved the pool areas and having access to the beach. There is a lovely rooftop bar where you can watch the sunset. Interior of the hotel is stunning. We took the yoga class one morning which was included in our stay. And we enjoyed the film that was put on the big screen one evening.
