    For those who loves beautiful scenery, art, history building, come explore Georgetown, so many pictures you can take here. I eat at roti bakar hutton lane. You can use rapid van less than 10 mins you can arrive there. Walkable distance to jetty, ferry. I went to bukit bendera, the cool air make us comfortable.

    Have stayed at Butter ferringi? Before and much preferred Georgetown, Plenty to see and do there, Mixture of food. Great coffee place, Yes not talking like starbucks etc but Mamac stores etc, Very nice, Cheap and friendly

    George Town has a great range of options for accomodation...

    George Town has a great range of options for accomodation and dining. There are dozens of heritage hotels and guest houses as well as modern hotels and airbnbs. There is food of many different kinds: hawker stalls, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars all provide a variety of options at a range of price points. For transport, the town is more or less navigable by foot, and, depending on the time of day and time of year, Grab works well and is relatively inexpensive. The town also contains a number of interesting museums and historical buildings. It's history, heritage, architecture, and culture make it a unique and attractive tourist destination.

    A great place to visit but traffic management was terrible...

    A great place to visit but traffic management was terrible with drivers not observing rules concerning human traffic. Would like to see rail connections making more safe for human traffic. Buses are okay but some drivers are hell drivers.

    Walking through George Town feels like stepping into a living museum with rows of pastel-painted shophouses, grand colonial mansions, Chinese clan houses, temples, mosques, and churches stand within blocks of each other. Its narrow streets are filled with hawker stalls serving some of Malaysia’s most beloved dishes. Independent cafés, boutique hotels, and art galleries thrive inside restored heritage buildings, blending old-world charm with modern flair.

    The food was the stand-out attraction for me; the variety, quality and availability was exceptional. You can go from breakfast on the side of the street for 7 MYR all the way to Michelin-star restaurants (can't speak for them though!), but everything has it's charm. The weather was very favourable and everyone was welcoming. It is a popular tourist destination, so if you're looking to get away from other tourists I wouldn't recommend it, but there's plenty to see and do.

    Probably one of the best hotels I stayed in Malaysia. Perfect location as it was easy to walk to the main food markets, temples, boutiques and other tourist spots as well as Komtar (the mall and the bus station for buses to the airport or Penang Hill). The room had no window but never felt too dark. It was spacious, well designed and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have English TV channel. All staff members were always kind and helpful.

    Literally we like everything about the hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The entrance, lobby, hotel and rooms were very clean. Jeeva at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The free flow coffee in the lobby was great. Great location of the hotel as it made almost everything in George Town walking distance.

    The hotel is a beauty on the island of Penang. The location is perfect, a few steps away from the cozy city center of George Town. The restaurant offered amazing breakfast and also dinner options. The room received faced beach view, how amazing that was. The pool on the 6th floor is very beautiful and peacefull !
