While not far from the city, this peaceful setting surrounded by Kalahari bush is perfect for relaxing. The facilities are beautifully maintained and the design of the rooms is impressive. I can't recommend the breakfast enough, specially try the scrambled eggs. Cecilia took care of us and made sure we arrived safely to our next destination. Watching the wildlife walking just outside of the lodge at sunset was calming as well as opening the curtains at sunrise while having french press coffee in bed on a chill morning.

It was a perfect stay on our way to Botswa! Beautiful landscape clean and friendly place to stay! You can have dinner and breakfast what was just excellent. You can cook in an open kitchen if you like

our rooms were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff-they were so friendly and accommodation. If there was more to see and do in Gobabis we would of stayed a week, we enjoyed the Windpomp Guest House so much. Highly highly recommended 😀

The premises was lovely and kid friendly. At reception there is an outdoor pool with slide, heated indoor pool, Boma, animals for the kids to look at and an outdoor play area. The chalet where we stayed was spacious and had a lovely view and private braai area. We had a friendly peacock come visit us and the kids fed it a few crumbs. The unit has the essential utensils and linen required.

I had such a fabulous stay at Blue Olive. There is lots of open seating outside the room with palm trees, for those that love the outdoors. I enjoyed a beautifully relaxing swim on the first day. And, you are treated to a special breakfast each morning. Absolute value for money. I think I found a new home in Gobabis! I highly recommend Blue Olive :).
