    Harderwijk was surprising.

    Harderwijk was surprising. I hadn't visited the city for decades so I was pleasantly surprised of the transformation of the small lakeside town. The waterside is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect place to enjoy the sunset. The food choices are plentiful and there are enough terraces to chose from. If you like water, take a guided tour through the canals and lake, like the one from the windmill. We visited in september and the city was still lively partly because of the wonderful weather. Go visit Harderwijk's city center and enjoy the scenery!

    This hotel is an absolute gem! It's location is perfect, right on the town square, the staff are lovely, it's chic and clean. My room was great. A huge bed, very comfortable; the room was a generous size with a good deal of space between the bed and the desk area; the bathroom was a good size too, the bath was especially appreciated. My partner and I had a wonderful time. The price was extremely reasonable too. Plus, the weather was very cold indeed but my room was cosy and warm at all times. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    The Water Loft of Karin und Jaap is a dream. We felt a very warm hospitality with all the special details. The location is fantastic, direct to the water and nearby the lovely city of Harderwijk. The furnishing and the equipment is exceptional and in every way perfect. We spend a wonderful and a relaxing time there and would like to come back very soon. Thank you so much!!!
