What a beautiful property with immaculate park like surroundings for walking. Convenient location with parking for a car. Excellent service from the reception desk -staff very helpful and friendly. Room was bright and beautifully appointed with the bonus of 2 baths in the bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities very good! Highly recommended! The dinner on the last night was delicious with great personal service from students that are passionate about their role serving customers. A great experience!

Loved the whole experience of the coffee bar the breakfast in a bag outside your door .the self check-in but staff available if needed and especially loved how close it was to train station. It was clean comfortable. Loved the fridge in the hangout place with water and fruit available at all times.

International, Yet Unique

One of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, picturesque Maastricht has an international feel. Not only can you walk to Belgium and cycle to Germany, this town also gave birth to the European Union and euro following the 1992 Maastricht Treaty.

Its largest square – Vrijthof – houses the twin churches of St Jan and St Servaas, a theatre and several pavement cafes. Various festivals and the Magic Maastricht Christmas markets are also held here. Markt square is home to the Flemish-style town hall, a twice-weekly market and yet more restaurants and bars offering great nightlife.

    Maastricht is a fantastic beautiful city.

    Maastricht is a fantastic beautiful city. It's peaceful, clean, tidy and with lots of amenities. It has an old historic medieval centre, and a more modern centre, good restaurants and other shops. It feels like its citizens have a very good decent life. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Everyone spoke English. We felt welcomed and had a wonderful time. I would like to go back and be able to spend a few days longer to get to know the city better.

    Maastricht is a beautiful, quaint, pedestrian friendly city with cobblestones streets, al fresco dining, wonderful shopping, heritage, architecture and much much more. Take a walk along the city wall, have coffee by the river, visit the beautiful churches, tour the university, shop, eat, chill...so much to do (and English is common). Enjoy!

    Maastricht is a beautiful, Italian like atmosphere City in the south of the Netherlands that should be next to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam if you are visiting the Netherlands for a short holiday, as it is so different from any other Dutch city. It has many historical places, lots of culture and folkore, amazing green parks and great food traditions. Try the famous "vlaai"!

    Maastricht is the birthplace of the EU and the Euro, two items that highlighted the significant role that it played in the region. It has the feel of a university town and a historic old center. Great variety of food, really old interesting churches and of course, the famous, St. Servatius Church. Just outside the city, they have their vineyards which you can visit for a wine-tasting day tour. It's an hour drive by car from Cologne, Germany

    A very beautiful city with many interesting things to see...

    A very beautiful city with many interesting things to see and experience. The architecture is very interesting. The Museum aan het Vrijthof is excellent. Parking is problematic. The Maastricht Museum is shallow on historical content but in a very nice building. A visit to the Mijnmuseum in Heerlen is worth a half a day.

    Maastricht is special in that this city has been center to so many events through out history. It is also a very clean city with incredibly friendly people. It's location near the Maas River presented so many choices to enjoy the open air.

    Very good location - a few minutes from the train station, less than 10 minutes from the city centre. The hotel has exceptional staff, nothing is a problem, everything gets solved and they are very very nice. The breakfast is okay, it has a good variety, coffee is good. Could have some more pastry options. The hotel is nice, the rooms are a bit small and the shower without a door is an interesting option. However the rooms do what it says on the tin, you do get a good sleep. If you are a light sleeper, get some earplugs.

    Easy to find and the parking was good. A quirky hotel ( quirky in a good way) in the heart of Maastricht. Although not too much in the centre that driving would be a problem. Very near the station. A lovely area to walk around in. They give you free soup and the bar is very pleasant. AND you can adopt a goldfish to have in your room. ( we didn’t as my previous track record of caring for a goldfish isn’t great..but it’s a brilliant idea)

    Great place for a couple of nights in Maastricht! Great position near the main square and the city centre. Staff was nice and friendly, the building was typical old Dutch structure with steep stairs but overall nice. The room was big and the bed was super comfortable. There was a coffee machine and a bottle of water offered in the room.
