I was very happy with a friendly and helpful hotel reception and a well informed manager. I had been upgraded to a better room at their initiative. Happy with that! And a very good breakfast - much more than I need in the morning. Great location for a ski vacatiion with ski area shuttlebus stopping close by if you need it. You can take your last run all the way down close to the hotel. Good local restaurants and bars very close by - less than a minute out the door. The hotel used to be the local hub before new construction at the resort base was developed. I have skied and arranged many ski trips with friends and colleagues to Hemsedal since 1986, staying at the hotel on several occasions and have many good memories from after ski and dinners at the hotel amongst the other possibilities "downtown" Hemsedal.Guest review byEinarNorway - 10.0

It's a nice privately owned apartment with three bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 2 with bunk beds. It is newly developed and fully equipped and stocked. It is in a building next to the Fyri resort, which we used for drinks/pizza in the bar area one evening (excellent pizzas) and for a swim/sauna session one afternoon (with poolside drinks). It is a walking distance to the village, where the kids enjoyed the climbing parcourse. There are some nice walks in the mountains nearby.Guest review byRolandNetherlands

Apartment is located in the center of Hemsedal - shops, ski bus stop and tourist information are all only a few steps away. One of the slopes ends across the street from the apartment. Apartment is nice and cozy, everything you need is there. Some of the appliances may not look like new but everything is clean and works fine. Great place for the price! Hotels interior and design is like from other fancy century and super cozy. We regreted to book this place only for one night. But most excited part was - Pool Club, which works till midnight. We were there around 23 pm and we were almost only customers so we enjoyed quite privite atmoshpere there with cold coctails by pool. :D And our bed in room was so "king size" we alsmot could not reach each others hands :DGuest review byMadaraLatvia
