The property is not part of the hotel which takes up most of the village but is run separately by the owner. The property has been divided into two separate self catering lodges. It has been nicely modernised with a well equipped kitchen diner area. By showing your key it gives you free access to the hotel area, which has a cafe, restaurant and pizzeria. The picture windows have a beautiful view, and we saw the northern lights from the sofa, and photographed them from the balcony. There are seals swimming in front of the balcony every day and we saw an eagle fishing right outside. Perfect spot for the midnight sun. The interior space was very well designed and had a relaxing and homey feeling. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom set up worked very well for a family with several children. We stayed here one night on our way down the Lofoten Islands, and it was a sweet place to stay. The beds were narrow but very comfortable, and the bathroom was good also. We had a kitchenette which we were able to make dinner at - there's a hob, sink and fridge.
