The room was clean, the staff was very kind all the time. The receptionist even helped me to write some postcards and the next morning the lady helped me to call the taxi for drop off at the airport. The manager was also very kind to wishing me a nice trip back home.

Absolutely great experience at the Everest Boutique hotel. The room was perfect and so comfortable and delicious breakfast (we had americano and continental mainly). There was Dolakh, the owner and manager always able to help us organizing our stay and activities. Also his great staff. We also booked his agency for a guide (Siri) and driver (Pimba) for 2 days. The airport pickup works perfectly. Absolutely recommended!

Very good hotel, staff super friendly and helpful for everything. The room was great, I really liked it, everything was there, super clean. There is also a restaurant in the rooftop with great selection of food. I highly recommend this hotel if you staying in Kathmandu, also the area is great.

My stay at Karma was such a great experience! As soon as I booked they contacted me so they could pick me up at the airport, which was more than helpful since I got in quite late. The hotel has a perfect locations with tons of restaurants and cafes around, and excelente connectivity with all of the city’s most important landmarks. The room was clean and confortable, and the staff was just lovely. They even exchanged my money at a very good rate. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much Karma team.

    On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen...

    On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.

    You have to say No!

    You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.

    Treekers home provides an excellent accommodation facilities in low cost. Especially, staffs were very helpful and the location of the hotel was also nice. Note: There is a big room to improve the light and bathroom facilities. But it is perfect for those who find low cost hotel in Thamel.

    Mostly stayed in Thamel tourist area and ate at many local spots: House of MoMo, Third Eye, Yok Bar were all great! But careful as some of the menu descriptions can be a little misleading. Ex: I received a 'chicken skewer' meal that was NOTHING like described. It was even missing the skewers. But the staff was extremely helpful and eager to please. The traffic/driving is crazy! Mopeds/motorbikes are high percentage of use, with automobiles being less visible in the high tourist areas. It is REALLY dusty everywhere. Wear a mask or buff if you have allergy/breathing issues. Always carry your own TP if you're not used to using squatty potty's and bidets!

    Thamel is a good location for tourist, shopping and food will totally depend on your choices. Friendly area and lost of money changes and ATM. It's a good place if you like working. Pls ensure that you have a mask as it is a little dusty.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Their thoughtful gesture of upgrading us to their Best Room was much appreciated. The price was also very affordable.
