Hotel Yambu is a short ride from Kathmandu airport and in a great location for wandering around the bazaars of Thamel. Raj, the owner/manager is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. A pot of tea on arrival is very welcoming and he is available to talk about your plans and make onward travel bookings for you. The powerful, endlessly hot showers are fabulous.
