stay on the mountain without air pollution close to World peace pagoda ,good place to get exercise with hiking up and down about 3-5 kms to Pokhara city on the road or on the jungle trail ,tasty and quality breakfast ,near the starting point to Lake side and pagoda ,many birds singing in the morning, good location to see nice view of Annapurna range and Pewa Lake

Our one-night stay at Raniban Retreat was short but deeply restorative—just the kind of peaceful escape we didn’t know we needed. Perched above Pokhara, this hidden gem offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the city below. The moment we arrived, it felt like we had been transported to another world—quiet, calm, and wrapped in the embrace of nature. The retreat is beautifully and tastefully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Winding stone paths, wooden cottages, and lush greenery all contribute to a sense of tranquil isolation that melts away the noise and stress of city living. Even though we were there for just one night, it was more than enough to recharge our social batteries and reconnect with ourselves. The hospitality at Raniban was equally unforgettable. From the start, the team was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Pradip, the operations manager, made our check-in a breeze and later surprised us with a heartfelt farewell ceremony steeped in Nepali tradition—a touching gesture that left a lasting impression. Rakesh, the manager, was ever-present to ensure everything ran smoothly. A very special mention goes to Asvin, who went out of his way to take care of us throughout our stay. He thoughtfully surprised us with an impromptu candlelight dinner—a magical and unexpected gesture that made our evening extra special. He was always on hand to assist with our questions, and his attentiveness and genuine warmth made us feel incredibly well cared for. The food at Raniban Retreat was another highlight—fresh, organic, and packed with flavor, much of it sourced directly from their own backyard garden. Dining with a view of the Himalayas made every bite feel like a celebration. Despite a minor setback with a piece of broken luggage (damaged during our flight), the staff went above and beyond to help us manage the issue.

Dinesh, and the taxi driver organised for me (Mik) were fantastic. Very accommodating and kind. The location is unbeatable, arguably the best view in the valley when clear.

Very special location in the jungle. The te ya we’re really great and comfortable, the staff made us feel like at home, and the food we las really delicious.

Easy work to the town. Lovely gardens and bonus swimming pool and gym. Great food and service. So comfortable after several days hiking.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel August International in Pokhara, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I arrived, Mr. Raj Gupta ..... the owner and manager, extended a warm welcome that made me feel right at home. His attentive and friendly demeanor set the tone for my entire stay. The staff at the hotel were equally commendable. Always ready to assist, they ensured that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. Their professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my visit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a day of exploring Pokhara. The hotel's location is ideal, offering easy access to local attractions and scenic views. In summary, my stay at Hotel August International was delightful. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and the personal touch from Mr. Gupta and his team made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pokhara.

Everything :) The staff always were able to help you with anything. From negotiating cab fees to walking with you to a souvenir shop. I reached pohkara.at 12 midnight. I informed the hotel via booking.com to inform that my bus is very late. It was 12 midnight and I had someone waiting at pohkara bus stop to pick me up. AND they were extremely responsive via the chat It was reassuring :) Extremely grateful. :) The hotel is just walking distance from phewa lake. On the roof top you can see machaprae mountain if the skies are clear. From my balcony I had a view if the lake. :)
