One of the best, if not the best stay we’ve had! The place was sooo cute. I’m a beautiful location with so many fruit trees and chickens and even a cat 😍. There was everything we needed and more! The hosts went above and beyond to have everything there including breakfast, fresh picked fruit waiting for us. A bbq. The outdoor space was so cute! Thank you so much!

We are absolutely thrilled to have discovered a genuine Canadian-style Lodge here in New Zealand! The owners' idea of sharing the history of Yellowstone National Park in the United States with guests was absolutely delightful. The enthusiasm and hospitality of the owners, ready to welcome both international and national guests with such an fascinating concept, truly touched our hearts. The tranquility and beauty of the place are incredible, just like the hosts, Nick and Julie, who took the time to make us feel like we were among friends at home. The cleanliness and design of the spaces are unmatched! The breathtaking views and the vast spaces at your disposal are a real treat for the eyes. The Lodge is located within a private park, with easy walks for everyone to enjoy. The fresh air and the relaxation in front of a real Canadian fireplace complete the day perfectly. The quality/price ratio is truly lower than what the property and the owners themselves offer. Terrific location in Kaikohe on the main street. Easy to find and run by a wonderful manager - Mihi. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. There were secure facilities for our car and bikes (we were doing the Twin Coast Cycle trail).

Avalon, in a tranquil garden setting, offers self-catering cottages with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the valley and the Puketotora River.

The hostess and host were so kind and welcoming! The B&B was beautifully situated in between an orchard and a lovely garden. The tips for what to visit in the area, recommended to us by the hostess, were really good and worth visiting! The fireplace, tennis court and hot tub just completed our stay entirely. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to everyone!
