Lovely little cottage with fully equipped kitchen for supplied bacon and eggs with muesli/bran/yoghurt/fruit/toast/fudge etc. Gorgeous rolling gardens with ponds, bridges, seats, pathways and viewpoints. Allow 45min each way for the walk up to the secret waterfall( well worthwhile). Jill is friendly , helpful and hardworking.

First, Mel and Glenn-- they're so nice, so very accommodating, sat with us by a lovely fire pit overlooking their expansive valley view and talked about their family, domestic and farm animals, and hobbies, while we shared our stories and the horror that the US has become in one short month before we began asking about NZ emigration procedures! After nightfall, Glenn pointed out the Southern Cross and Milky Way and we headed inside as we had an early morning. Our room was large, the beds comfortable, and there were many fun snacks to munch on, which we tried not to eat but hey, vacation is for trying new things, right? Sorry if sheets were filled with crumbs, Mel, and thanks for everything!

The decking was a bonus. We enjoyed being close to the train track. The trains were very infrequent but they were interesting to watch. Overall a quiet location and only a short drive into town to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

Panorama Motor Inn is just 5 minutes’ drive from Te Kuiti Train Station. A kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator is standard in some rooms.

Very comfortable bed, welcoming hosts, nice views over the countryside, loved the spa. Really enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast with bird song in the bush next to the room. Simple breakfast supplies of cereal, toast, plenty fruit and yoghurt. And even a little bottle of wine and beer plus juice which we didn't have but appreciated them being supplied if wanted. Friendly dog!

This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. This was so much better than I expected. The room was really nice, better than many more expensive hotels. The couple running the inn are so nice. We chatted a lot, got really good advice on where to go. We also had a tasting of a dozen types of New Zealand honey at breakfast.
