I'm not a fussy traveller. Luxury means nothing to me. I was a bit cold and I am a jonah when it comes to operating mechanical gadgets so another quilt would be good for people like me. I was told Pukekohe can be cold at night and that was true yet it was hot during the day. We haven't struck winter weather yet. The road to and from Pukekohe along the road to our place is dangerous - non-stop traffic nearly all idiot drivers who want to pass everything in front of them.Guest review byLeslieNew Zealand - 8.0

Nice property inside with everything you could want, however dishwasher failed after 2 nights due to not being properly maintained. The biggest issue for me was location and owners not transparent of the fact that major road right next to property with big double trucks, hoon cars, loud motorcycles and traffic constantly travelling on it. First night I was woken up in fright to bed shaking thinking was earthquake but then realised it was from the big trucks passing. Later confirmed by neighbours this is normal!! Owners deceptive in advertising about this. Tried to sort out with owners but told no refund or compensation as map showed road on booking, but if you not a local how to know what type of traffic on that road? Loved the smell of country air. Accomodation & Hosts excellent. Loved the pets always makes a difference & the property, view & privacy Excellent. There wasn't much not to like. Loved the main shopping street. Lots of bargains and friendly shop assistants and the restaurant we chose for dinner had a great vibe and staff and delicious food.
