When we got back to the motel it appeared the bed had been used as a couch and the $400 dollar bottle of parfum that was on the bed was gone. We were there in autumn.
We were there in autumn. It's a summer city ... sun, sea and surf. Not many cultural activities and the art gallery happened to be closed! Historic village, although mainly retail, was a pleasant couple of hours stroll through. Tauranga a good place for families I think. We travelled to Tauranga the night before. Our room was a good size with kitchenette, dining table and 2 lounge chairs. A comfy king size bed. It was modern, warm, clean and quiet. We were close to the hospital, for my husband to be able to return to and relax. The facilities close by are a bonus. It suited our stay.
