It was nice to be close to the beach but for the price you...
It was nice to be close to the beach but for the price you pay it's not worth it, no milk tea or coffee, you have to take you own bedding and towels and for the price I could have got a motel or hotel close to the beach for a lot cheaper and wouldn't have had to pack bedding and towels etc.Guest review byViennaNew Zealand - 10.0

not many restaurant options are in Thorton itself - you do need to travel to Whakatane. the room itself does have cooking facilities - so bring food with you as you can virtually just stay at Thorton the whole time if you are organised and prepared well enough.Guest review byCotterillAustralia
