The owners were very friendly and hospitable. It is a nice set up with common kitchen/living room area, also nice to meet other travellers. The room was big and had a comfortable bed. Nice location, with a wonderful beach across the road for walks. You can prepare your own breakfast and there's plenty to choose from.

Beautiful country house among the vineyards. Alex and Peter could not be more welcoming. Pool perfect for a cooling down dip. We had a lovely dinner along with other guests which made the experience all the better. Would gladly return to stay a bit longer.

Flaxbourne Motels is located in Ward. Each room here will provide you with a TV. There is a full kitchen with an oven and a refrigerator.

Everything was very clean and tidy. We needed to check-in late and everything was organized very smooth and uncomplicated. It was a perfect one night stay after taking the ferry and going to Christchurch the next day. The owners are so lovely and gave us some amazing hidden tips where to go. I definitely recommend staying there!
