Its a beautiful house, basic and at the same time very comfortable with everything you need. You can see the place is built and decorated by people who know what you need when backpacking. We visited during the rainy season and the restaurants of the resorts nearby were partly closed, but when open had good food.

The staff were fabulous, the setting was beautiful but the showstopper was the food. Some of the best meals I’ve ever eaten and able to cater for dietary requirements (gluten free) really well so I didn’t miss out on the experience. The table was also so beautifully set for each meal - we really enjoyed our experience there.

The general atmosphere is so peaceful - everything is made for you to relax in this luxurious nature. You can feel that the owner really cares and is passionate, from littles detail to the delicious breakfast. We booked a room there last minute, in the morning on the day of arrival, as our shuttle from Bocas was canceled and we had to stay one more night. Check-in went smoothly, we were able to get in the room even earlier than the official check-in time. I liked the location a lot because it is a bit away from the main streets with restaurants and bars and it was really quiet, we enjoyed it. There is a supermarket across the street where you can grab drinks and snacks, and a fridge in the room which made it very convenient and practical. Room nr 8: very spacious, large and comfy bed, a/c, hot shower, balcony with chairs and table (perfect for breakfast). WiFi is very good.
