This place is PARADISE ON EARTH - let me start with the managers Claude, a super cool French Gent and his wonderful local wife Virgilia - they immediately made us feel at home! The place is within a protected lagoon, amazing sunsets, gorgeous guests’ main pavilion to lounge around, a beautiful beach in front of the property, and restaurants and a few markets nearby. Moorea is a place where you want to be unless you are splurging out thousands of dollars per night in Bora Bora’s main international hotels (which are by the way not on the main island - but rather on it’s own motus (islands)). Highly recommend this fantastic place!

My beach bungalow was gorgeous and very comfortable. The staff was lovely and made me feel like home. There is a snorkeling spot nearby but I was happy to see rays and sharks at the beach in front of the hotel. The common spaces are gorgeous and it was nice to have a shared kitchen to meet other travelers. I loved this place.

Villa Sunrise Moorea is an exceptional place to stay. 🌺 The villa is modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views that made every morning special. A wonderful place to spend your vacation in Moorea! Equipped with every comfort (new washing machine, dryer, air conditioning, towels, unlimited water to drink, Netflix, soap, and shower gel). Very quiet area. The kitchen and bathroom are shared, but very spacious (the bathroom even has a bidet, which is not a given! 😂). I really liked this because I was able to share my time with other travellers too. There’s also a big balcony. The owner is a very attentive guy, who takes care of every need!

We loved Moorea, had we known, we would have stayed a week instead of just 4 days. The staff and service at Linareva is exceptional. There is a beautiful tranquil family run atmosphere. These cottages are perfectly equipped (even milk frother with coffee machine). We loved kayaking (provided) and snorkeling (there is some older gear, better bring your own) on the coral around the blue hole. It was sometimes so wind still that the surface of the sea looked like a lake. You can catch lovely sunsets from the pier. We would absolutely stay there again. Note: you will need a car, to get there, for grocery shopping but also to get to all the great spots on Moorea: drift snorkel, boat rental (cheap at Hotel Les Tipaniers), restaurants … We rented at Avis.com collecting the car at the ferry terminal, returning at the airport, and it was super easy and quick.
