Remote location, private beach, amazing staff Gerard really helped me a lot by giving me lifts to the tours as I cannot drive (organised by hotel) or surfing I wanted to do (extra cost for the transport). The owners Gary and Eden were very welcoming and it felt like coming back to a home away from home. Food portions were perfect and enough of a variety of options despite being in a remote location. Gina and the other staff were very helpful always able to assist when needed :)

We stayed for 3 days while diving with Mobula Divers next door. Lovely property with comfortable rooms. Diving was great, you can hire a scooter to explore the local area and kayaking over to the small island was great fun. Beach area is really well set up with lots of shaded areas for relaxing. Staff were attentive and kind. Great cocktails and food was varied.

The rooms was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and a luxurious feeling. The staff was also really kind and helpful. The perfect place if you want to avoid too much tourists. It’s also possible to walk to nearby beaches as Mariposa beach and Dagmay beach which is really beautiful places. There is also motorbike rental nearby. I was traveling alone and felt very safe there :)

Dos Playas has it all. A privileged location, owners who are passionate about this project, and a very attentive and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the cabins with a private bathroom and fan. The cabin’s design is fantastic, both aesthetically and functionally. Even though it’s still a work in progress, I can say that every detail for your comfort has been carefully thought out. There’s a rack to hang your clothes, a small shelf unit with multiple levels for your things, and bedside tables. The bed is super comfortable and comes with a mosquito net. The “door” has a large zipper that makes it easy to open and close. This is not a place for those seeking luxury. It’s a place to disconnect from the world for a few days and enjoy nature. The food they offer is quite varied. You get between 7 and 9 different meal options that change every day and with each meal. The dishes are fresh, delicious, and generous in portion! Prices are fair. They take care of the beach and make sure it’s clean. There’s internet in the common area through Starlink. They coordinated all our transfers from El Nido and responded to our messages almost instantly. Also, Nika is an amazing dog. She loves playing on the beach and keeping you company, but she’ll never invade your space. I saw some reviews complaining about mosquitoes. It’s absurd to complain about that — you’re in nature. Another review mentioned the limited variety of food for families with children. This is NOT a place to go with kids; it’s perfect for couples who want to relax. Our congratulations to Rose and William (even though we didn’t get to meet him) for the amazing work, for what they’ve built so far, and I wish them all the best as they continue to develop this wonderful project. Big hug!

Everything, especially the staff and volunteering crew. the food was amazing and the whole experience was so cool. This is the definition of an island I would say, white beaches, clear blue sea and very cool accommodation. At first I was a little sceptic about the whole “community - doing stuff together feeling” but it is really awesome. If you don’t feel like joining a program, you’ll be free to get enough space/privacy. Off course you will have to chat with other guests sometimes, but the whole thing was just cool!

My boyfriend and I spent three days at this wonderful place and we can only warmly recommend it. The staff are all so warm and lovely. The food is excellent and it's a great place to come down to as there is nothing but the sea and lots of cute animals nearby. Thank you for a wonderful time!
