we were only in Cebu for one night with an early flight the following day, so we really wanted a hotel that was close by and with good value. Waterfront hotel and Casino was the perfect place for us to stay in. It was walking distance, I didn’t feel stressed about having to get taxis the next day and the hotel gives a luxurious ambience without breaking the bank. this is my second time staying in this hotel and it always reminds me of the hotel from the movie “The Shining”, not the scary parts, only the decor and the vibe! ❤️ will 100% be coming back the next time I’m in Cebu.

Super easy to get to from the airport, we took a Grab and arrived in about 15 minutes. The room is very basic but perfect for one night when traveling to or from the airport. I’d definitely recommend booking!

    It's a wonderful hotel that you don't need to leave for your stay. It has everything. The staff are world-class and the food is first class. They surprised us when they found out it was our anniversary with a complimentary bottle of wine.

    There are so many better places in S/E Asia to go for a nice time at the beach. Mactan is not one of them. I went for the IronMan and would never go for vacation there. Very poor availability of night life, sea and beach are mediocre.

    We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi...

    We went to Mactan for a wedding and caught a 'Grab' taxi from the airport to the accommodation for about A$15. We had a room with a view to the sea, but could also see the housing of the locals, which contrasted to the fancy hotels - so sad to see the living conditions of locals. The area where we stayed was rather quiet and was safe for walking without too much traffic.

    Great beaches on Mactan Island.

    Great beaches on Mactan Island. Also some good nearby attractions like Lapu-Lapu statue, Mactown Newtown, 10,000 Roses Cafe. You will also find more sites in Cebu city like Fort San Pedro, Magellan's Cross, Sto. Nino Church, Temple of Leah, Sirao Flower Garden, Little Kyoto, and Tops Overlook.

    Very reasonable prices for taxis and other transport to get around. Lovely cool shopping malls. Food is very, very good. The staff everywhere are lovely - exceptionally friendly without being intrusive.

    I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been made welcome by the staff. It’s almost just like going to see friends. I am amazed just how many of the staff remember me. Of course being situated right next to the airport is a huge plus. I am already looking forward to seeing my friends again in the future

    Solea Mactan is a hotel with many swimming pools and a water theme park - a happy place for family get-away and business travelers to CEBU Light Industrial Park. Easy access to the beach with a well cordoned large swimming area in the calm sea. It is about 15km (or 35-40 mins) from the International Airport and 7km (25-30 mins) from the Industrial Park. Rooms are with comfortable size and well-pressured water in bath. Good varieties of food for breakfast.

    It was a haven within the chaotic city. Each room was a bungalow with porch. The property was so spacious with a gorgeous garden, and the pool area was perfect to nap or read.
